EASY BUNTING

LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 50cm of Five Different quilting fabrics
- White ribbon (approx.5 triangles per 2m ribbon)
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
- Ribbon for binding
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1.Fold your quilting fabric in half, with the design side facing in. Sew top open triangles (15cm wide x 20cm long) along the length of your fabric. You will fit approximately 5 triangles per a metre length of bunting. Repeat for all 5 quilting fabrics.
Step 2. Cut out your bunting, snipping away excess fabric at the pointed end before turning inside out and pressing.
Step 3. Turn in the top cm of your open end and press for a neat edge.
Step 4. Cut your desired length of ribbon and start sewing on your triangles at the top edge, in a mix of patterns.
Step 5. Once your triangles/flags are sewn together onto the first length of ribbon, cut a second cut of ribbon (the same length as the first) and sew it along the opposite side of your triangles/flags for a neat finished edge.
