Spotlight has been appointed Starlight’s Official Creativity Partner, aiming to provide positive and creative distraction to thousands of sick kids in paediatric hospitals across Australia. Spotlight’s involvement will include providing a huge range of art, craft and party supplies to the Starlight Express Rooms in children’s hospitals nationwide, affording seriously ill children, along with their siblings and parents, an outlet to express themselves together creatively while undergoing much-needed medical treatment.

In addition, Spotlight and the Spotlight Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Spotlight’s founding Fried and Fraid families, will be supporting Starlight’s Wishgranting program, which provides once-in-a-lifetime experiences to sick kids and their families. The demand for Starlight Wishes continues to grow with more health professionals recognising the life-changing impact of a wish and referring a growing number of sick kids and teens to Starlight's Wishgranting program.

Starlight & Spotlight celebrates CBCA Book Week 2020 with Rove McManus.

Encouraging creativity is a integral part of Starlight’s work with sick kids. To celebrate CBCA Book Week 2020 we teamed up with TV personality and children’s author Rove McManus to run our very own Spotlight Creativity Workshop encouraging budding writing and illustrators to pick up a pen and get creative!
