GELATO TASSEL

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Start by cutting out long strands of your yarn, we used 35cm as a rough guide and 8 lengths for each tassel/bunch.

Step 2. Once you have about 15 bunches of pre-cut strands you can begin to assemble your first bunting.

Step 3. To make each bunting bring 8 strands of yarn together and loop in half. Place the looped yarn behind the macramé cord and then pull the ends of the yarn over the macramé cord and through the centre of the loop. Pull tight to secure.

Step 4. Repeat this process with the rest of your bunched yarn, we did about 15 bunches per colour.

Step 5. Once you have all 15 tassels on the macramé cord, use scissors to cut ends of tassels into curved shape. Create a curved template on some card if you want to make sure each bunting is the same.

Step 6. Repeat this process for each colour and hang on wall when complete!
