FOIL STARS

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Create a paper template of a star.

Step 2 - Trace the paper template onto the cardboard using a pencil and then cut out with scissors.

Step 3 - Heat your hot glue gun and use this to create raised lines over the front of your cardboard star, you can draw the lines in whichever way you like. The lines then become the sections for each colour.

Step 4 - Lay out your cardboard star onto the foil and cut a circle shape around the star. Then cut slits in between each star point, so that you can wrap the cardboard star in foil neatly.

Step 5 - Before wrapping the star, cover the matte side of the foil with PVA in the section where the star will go. Then place the star, hot glue side down onto the PVA glue.

Step 6 - Neatly wrap your star with the foil and press down gently around the hot glue ridges on the front side, be careful not to tear the foil.

Step 7 - Colour in each of the sections using your Sharpie permanent markers.
