This neoprene is black on the underside, and either side can be used as the outer in your garment or project. The thicker the fabric, the greater the insulating qualities. This material is composed of 60% rubber and 40% polyester, and supplied in a 130 cm width. Ensure your sewing machine is capable of working with this neoprene thickness - anything 4 mm and up is likely to require a HEAVY DUTY sewing machine.
Pre-wash, dry and flatten your fabric.
Sewing clips will be easier to use than pins.
A walking foot will be beneficial.
Use a heavier duty needle such as a size 80, denim needle or leather needle.
Water-based lubricants can help the needle move through the neoprene more easily.
A long stretch stitch length is recommended.
Selecting the correct tension on your sewing machine is key.
Sew slowly.
Hems can be left raw as this fabric will not fray.

Delivery Acceptance

Home delivery orders may be delivered under ‘Authority to Leave’ if the carrier deems it safe to leave items at the delivery address. This is at the carriers discretion. If it is deemed unsafe to leave the items, and no one is home to accept the parcel, a card will be left with instructions on how to collect them from your nearest delivery depot. Once your order has been delivered, Spotlight accepts no responsibility for any damage to, or loss of, your items. If you believe you have not received everything you ordered please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Delivery Times

Orders are typically dispatched within 1 business day. Occasionally, during promotional periods or on weekends, it may take longer.

Bulky products will be delivered via courier. Please allow 3 – 7 business days, depending on the delivery location. The courier will be automatically selected based on the goods being shipped, the size and weight, delivery pick-up address and delivery location address. Our couriers deliver weekdays only.

 

Split Delivery

Occasionally, customer’s orders may need to be sourced and supplied by multiple Spotlight locations. If this is the case, then your order will arrive at its destination in more than one consignment and possibly with more than one courier company. The multiple shipping charges are not passed onto the customer. The shipping charge paid at the checkout page of the order will not be exceeded even if multiple deliveries are required.

Returns Information

If you order an item online and it is not of acceptable quality or does not match the description, you can return it to us by taking the item to your nearest Spotlight store. If you are unable to get to a store, please call customer care on 0800 276 222.
