HALLOWEEN TEA LIGHT CANDLE JARS

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Tissue paper, Yellow & Purple
• Mod Podge Sealer
• Sponge brush
• Mason Jars
• Semco Acrylic Paint, Black
• Franchville Paint Brush
• Oval Joggle Eyes
• American Crafts Card, Black
• Craft Glue
• Scissors & Tea Light

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Cut the tissue paper into strips of 3-4cm, enough to cover the jar. Spread Mod Podge onto the side of the jar with the sponge brush, smooth a strip of tissue paper onto it from top to bottom and go over it again with the brush to ensure a smooth finish. Overlap a second piece of tissue paper and repeat. Continue in this way until the jar is completely covered, cut away any excess paper and leave to dry.

STEP 2

Paint the top of the jar with the black paint, giving it 2 coats if necessary. Glue on eyes, either cut out
of card or joggle eyes and a crazy nose or mouth as desired. Put a tea light into the candle.
