WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 5 x Over the top Chocolate Buttercream
• Salted Caramel flavoured Topping
• 3 x Masonite Cake board 410mm x 350mm
• 2 x Recipe Right Rectangle Cake tin 13x9in
• 4 x Choc Ripple Biscuits
• SH 17' Spiders 50PK
• SH 17" Severed Fingers 5PK
• SH 17' Severed Hand
• SH 17' Severed Foot
• SH 17' Rubber Rat

HALLOWEEN GRAVE CAKE

(Makes approx. 30cmx90cm Cake)

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Using your favourite Chocolate sponge cake recipe bake 4 x rectangular cakes and let cool.

Step 2. Crush the Choc Ripple Biscuits in a food processor so that you get varied sized pieces to resemble dirt and set aside.

Step 3. Lay the three cake boards alongside each other.

Step 4. Spread some of the chocolate buttercream in the middle of the first cake board and lay down your first cake.

Step 5. Spread some chocolate buttercream along the edge of the cake where the second cake will join. Also spread some chocolate buttercream on the cake board to hold the second cake down.

Step 5. Repeat this process until all four cakes are alongside each other on the cake boards.

Step 7. Next start spreading chocolate buttercream all over each cake, making it look like one continuous cake.

Step 8. Then cover the cake with the crushed biscuits and press down firmly.

Step 9. Once the whole cake is covered with biscuits, sprinkle some the caramel salted topping all over the cake.

Step 10. Then decorate as you like, using the dismembered hands/feet, severed fingers or rubber rodents, spiders and tombstones.
