GLOW IN THE DARK SKULL MASK

LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Paper Mache Skull Mask
- Semco Matte Acrylic Paint 59mL- Black
- Semco Matte Acrylic Paint 59mL- Early Spring Green
- Americana Glow-in-the-Dark Paint
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1
Basecoat your paper mache skull mask completely with black paint. You will likely need two coats as paper mache is absorbent. Let dry completely.
STEP 2
Use the Early Spring Green to create a spooky pattern or design on your mask. Let dry.
STEP 3
Apply the Americana Glow-in-the-Dark paint over the Early Spring Green pattern. You will need to apply two coats. Once dry, attach elastic to your mark so that it can be worn, if desired.
STEP 4
Once dry, attach elastic to your mark so that it can be worn, if desired.
STEP 5
The Glow-in-the-Dark paint needs to becharged before it will glow. To do this, place your finished mask close to a light source...a desk lamp or similar would be best (please be careful if light source is also a heat source as paper mache is highly flammable- it does not need to be so close to the bulb that it heats up). The length and strength of the exposure will impact how much and for how long your mask will glow.
