PAPIER MACHE BIRD HOUSE & PENCIL

LEVEL: EASY

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Birdhouse

• Papier mache birdhouse.
• Clubhouse Pink & yellow acrylic paint.
• Clubhouse eva foam sheets.
• Scissors.
• Hot glue gun and glue sticks.

Pencil

• Papier mache pencil case.
• Clubhouse acrylic paint x8 colours, including x1 natural & x1 black.
• Paint brush.

INSTRUCTIONS

Birdhouse

Step 1.For this project you will need pink and yellow paint and five different colours of Clubhouse foam sheets (we have used blue, green, yellow, orange and yellow)

Step 2.Paint the entire bottom part of the birdhouse in pink, including the under part.
Step 3. Paint the entire top roof of the bird house in yellow.

Step 4. Use club house foam sheets to form the roof, cutting each colour into the following sizes, to form a layered rainbow effect roof.

Step 5.Blue: 15 x 12.5cm, Green: 15 x 5cm, Yellow: 15 x 8cm, Orange: 15 x 5cm, Yellow: 15 x 7cm

Step 6. Use glue to stick each of these down, placing each sheet slightly higher than the other to create the layered effect.

Step 7.Place the red piece over the top point of the birdhouse roof.

Step 8. Your birdhouse is now complete!

Pencil

Step 1. For this project you will need 8 different colour paints - 6 of your choice as well as a natural coloured paint and black for the top point.

Step 2. Paint even stripes on each of the 6 faces of the pencil using the various bright coloured paint you have selected.

Step 3. Continue to spread each paint colour over the top of the lid and form a curve. Repeat this for each of the 6 colours.

Step 4. Paint the remaining part of the pencil in a natural coloured paint.

Step 5. Use a black paint to paint a triangle around the top of the pencil.

Step 6. Your pencil case is now complete!
