INSTRUCTIONS

FIRST STRIP OF MOTIFS

Motif 1 - With A, ch 24.

1st row - (WS). 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 dc in each of next 9 ch. Dc3tog. 1 dc in each of last 10 ch. Turn. 21 sts.

**2nd row - Ch 1. Working through back loops only, 1 dc in each of first 8 dc. Dc3tog

- PM on last st for center. Working through back loops only, 1 dc in each of last 8 dc.

Turn.

3rd row - Ch 1. Working through back loops only, 1 dc in each st to 3 center sts. Dc3tog. Working through back loops only, 1 dc in each st to end of row. Turn.

Rep last row until 3 sts rem.

Next row - Ch 1. Dc3tog. Fasten off.**

Motifs 2 to 7 - Join A with sl st to bottom left corner of previous Motif. Ch 12. Turn.

1st row - (WS). Ch 1. 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 dc in each of next 9 ch. Dc3tog over next 2 ch and sp along side edge of previous Motif. Work 10 dc up along side of previous Motif. 21 sts.

Rep from ** to ** as given for First Motif.

SECOND STRIP OF MOTIFS

Motif 1 -With B, ch 12.

1st row - (WS). 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 dc in each of next 9 ch. Dc3tog over next 2 ch and sp along top edge of previous Motif from previous Strip. Work 10 dc across top edge of Motif from previous Strip. Turn. 21 sts. Rep from ** to ** as given for Motif 1 of First Strip.

Motifs 2 to 7

1st row - (WS). Join B with sl st to top left corner of Motif from previous Strip. Ch 1.

Work 9 dc across top edge of Motif from previous Strip. Dc3tog. Work 10 dc up side edge of Motif from same Strip. Turn. 21 sts. Rep from ** to ** as given for Motif 1 of First Strip.

Rep Second Strip of Motifs, alternating A and B until 7 Strips in total have been made.
