- Size 9 mm circular knitting needle 80 cm long or size needed to obtain gauge.
- Scissors, yarn needle

TENSION
7 sts and 12 rows = 10 cm in stocking st.
SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS:
Centre Dec = Slip next 2 stitches as if to K2tog. Knit next stitch, then pass slipped stitches over knit stitch.
INSTRUCTIONS
STRIPE PATTERN
With MC, work 8 rows.
With C1, work 2 rows.
These 10 rows form Stripe Pat.
With MC, cast on 93 sts loosely. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
1st row - (WS). Knit.
2nd row - K1. ssk. *K13. M1. K1. M1. K13. Centre dec. Rep from * to last 30 sts. K13. M1. K1. M1. K13. K2tog. K1.
3rd row - K1. P1. *K14. P1. Rep from * to last st. K1. First 3 rows of Stripe Pattern are complete. Keeping cont of Stripe Pat, rep 2nd and 3rd rows for Garter Zig-zag Pattern until Blanket measures approx. 101.5 cm, ending with 8 rows of A.
Cast off loosely and work in ends.
