How to use an oil diffuser

How to clean an oil diffuser

Clean inside an oil diffuser by adding water as normal, but then adding a teaspoon of vinegar to the water. Let it diffuse for five minutes, then turn it off and empty the vinegar solution. Wipe any needed surfaces with a cotton bud dipped in rubbing alcohol.

How much essential oil to use in a diffuser

Smaller diffuser machines (200 ml) will need between 6 and 10 drops of oil. Then add 5 more drops of oil at every 100 ml increase. Make sure to check your diffuser's instructions for the specific amount of water and oil recommended for it.
