WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Arbee Round Wood Beads 30mm 4pk
- Arbee Wood Craft Kookaburra 1pk
- Arbee Wood Craft Emu 1pk
- Arbee Wood Craft Kangaroo 1pk
- Ribtex Play Jewels Large Pastel Beads 125g
- Ribtex Jewellery Stringing Natural Twine 3 Pack Beige, Tan & Black 3 x 3 m
- Hot glue gun and glue stick
- Pastel paints, paint brush and water
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Paint all three wood Australiana animals in pastel colours, front and back.
Leave to dry.
Step 2 - Cut 4 lengths of beige cord, one approximately 1.5m and 3x lengths approximately 30cm.
Step 3 - Knot the end of the longer length of cord, thread on beads- 7 pastel beads then 1 large 30mm raw wood bead. Continue pattern until there is 5 large beads and 42 pastel beads. Knot the other end of the cord.
Step 4 - Tie the three lengths of 30cm cord onto the longer length of cord.
Step 5 - Thread pastel bead on the smaller lengths of cord and knot into place. Halfway down, knot the cord again. Thread another bead and then knot in place.
Step 6 - At the end of the lengths of cord, knot again and leave 5mm of cord after the knot.
Step 7 - Using a hot glue gun, glue a bead at the top of each of the Australiana animals.
Step 8 - Insert some hot glue into the top of the bead that is attached to the animal, place in end of cord up to knot and let dry.
