ROSE & HUBBLE LAP QUILT

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Calico for backing, sashing and binding
- Wadding
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Sew 6 vertical panels as per the colour-coded diagram. Press.
Step 2 - Cut backing and wadding the same size as the panel. Lay backing on table right side down. Lay wadding on top. Lay panel on top, pin to secure layers then quilt as per photo.
Step 3 - Attach sashing to top and bottom of the first 5 panels (working from left to right) along the right-hand edges. Open top sashing and press flat.
Step 4 - Attach panel 2 to the sashing of panel 1, panel 3 to panel 2 and so on until quilt is together.
Step 5 - On the reverse side of the quilt, fold sashing over the openings, pin and hem stitch in place by hand.
Step 6 - Using calico binding, bind the entire edge of the quilt, mitreing the corners as you go.
