MARVEL BUNNY GNOMES
Level: Intermediate
What you'll need:
- 4 Seasons Marvel 8 Ply Yarn 100 g balls:
- Aqua (C1)
- Orange (C2)
- Sun Gold (C3)
- White (C4)
- Light Silver (C5) X 1 each or any 8ply left over yarn is suitable for this project.
- 4 mm Crochet Hook
- One removable stitch marker or large safety pin
- 3 small bells
- 3 craft pompoms white and 3 craft pompoms coloured
- Make-up blush for dusting inner ears and snout
- Yarn needle, scissors, tape measure

Finished size approx. 20 cm tall x 13 cm wide
Tension
Not crucial for this project.
Instructions
Dc2tog - double crochet 2 sts together as follows - insert hook UNDER FRONT LOOPS ONLY of next 2sts to be worked together and work as one dc.
Note: This project is worked using two strands of yarn held together throughout. Using a 4mm hook ensures a tight tension holding up the shape.
All parts are worked in continuous rounds. Place stitch marker on last stitch of first round, remove and replace on every round.
Yarn scraps are used for stuffing.
Body

1st Rnd - 6dc, place marker on last dc and replace after each rnd.
2nd Rnd - 2dc in each st around ... 12dc
3rd Rnd - 1dc in next st, 2dc in next st, rep to last st ... 18dc.
4th Rnd - 1dc in next 2dc, 2dc in next dc, rep to last st ... 24dc
5th Rnd - 1dc in next 3dc, 2dc in next dc, rep to last st ... 30dc.

Snout

1st Rnd - Miss 1ch, 1dc in next 5ch, 3dc in next ch, 1dc in opposite loops of 5ch, 3dc in last ch ... 16dc, place marker on last dc and replace after each rnd.
2nd Rnd - 5th Rnd - 1dc in each st around ... 16dc, slst in next st, fasten off leafing long tail.
Ears (Make 2)
Make a magic circle.
1st Rnd - 3dc, place marker on last dc and replace after each rnd.
2nd Rnd - 2dc in each st around ... 6dc.
3rd Rnd - 1dc in next st, 2dc in next st, rep to last st ...9dc.
4th Rnd - 1dc in each st around ... 9dc.
5th Rnd - 1dc in next 2sts, 2dc in next st, rep to last st ... 12dc.
6th - 9th Rnd - 1dc in next st, 2dc in next st, rep to last st ... 12dc.
Next row - 1dc in next 6dc, slst in next st, TURN.
Next row - 1dc in next 6dc, stst, fasten off leaving long tail.
Fold ears with elongated edge held together and oversew using long tail
Finishing
Tails at beg of arms, legs, ears and snout are pushed to wrong side and used as stuffing. Tails at beg of ears are knotted, cut short and ends frayed.
Place ears on hat with elongated edge towards lower edge and sew in place. Oversew edge on snout, place two rnds up on wrong side of hat and stitch in place, move yarn to centre of snout, wrap 3 times over snout and tighten, attach pompom in centre. Attach bell to top of hat.
Oversew edges on arms & legs and sew onto body.
Optional: Place hat on body and fasten with a few sts to body so can be lifted. Using blush, gently dust inner ears and snout.
Sew in all ends.
