What you'll need:
- Keepsake Organic Cotton 8 Ply 100 g balls:
- Crown Blue (MC) x 4 (5-5-6)
- Cosmic Sky (CC) x 4 (5-5-6)
- Size 4.50 mm & 5.50 mm knitting needles or size to give correct tension.
- Size 4.50 mm circular knitting needles 80 cm long.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

Tension
15 sts and 21 rows to 10 cm over stocking st, using 5.50 mm needles and 2 strands of yarn held together.
Instructions
Note: Garment made using two strands of yarn held together throughout.
Back
Using 4.50 mm needles and 2 strands of MC together, cast on 65 (73-79-87) sts.
Beg Rib -
1st row (RS) - K2, P1, K1, rep from to last st, K1.
2nd row - K1, P1, K1, rep from to end.
Rep 1st and 2nd row until work measures 10cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row.
Change to 5.50 mm needles.
Work 2 rows stocking st.
Next row - K1, inc in next st, knit to last 2 sts, inc in next st, K1 ... 67 (75-81-89) sts.
Cont in stocking st (beg with a purl row), inc one st (as before) at each end of every foll 6th row until there are 71 (79-85-93) sts.
Work 3 (3-5-5) rows. Break off 1 strand of MC.
Using 1 strand of MC and 1 strand of CC held together, cont inc one st (as before) at each of 3rd (3rd-next-next) row ... 73 (81-87-95) sts.
Cont without shaping until work measures 30 cm from beg, ending with a purl row.
Tie a coloured thread at each of last row to mark beg of armholes as there is no armhole shaping.
Cont until work measures 7.5 (7.5-8.5-8.5) cm from coloured threads, ending with a purl row. Break off MC.
Using 2 strands of CC held together for rem, cont in stocking st until work measures 20 (21-22-23) cm from coloured threads, ending with a purl row.
Shape Shoulders -
Cast off 5 (5-6-6) sts at beg of next 6 (8-6-8) rows, then 4 (6-5-7) sts at beg of foll 4 (2-4-2) rows. Cast off rem 27 (29-31-33) sts.
Front
Work as for Back to .
Work 1 row.
Divide For V Neck -
Next row (RS) - K29 (33-36-40), cast off next 9 sts, knit to end.
Cont on these 29 (33-36-40) sts, dec one st at neck edge in 2nd row, then in every foll 8th (8th-6th-6th) row 1 (1-2-2) time/s, AT SAME TIME inc one st (as before) at side edge in 4th row and foll 6th row ... 29 (33-35-39) sts.
Work 3 (3-1-1) row/s. Break off 1 strand of MC.
Using 1 strand of MC and 1 strand of CC held together, cont inc one st (as before) at side edge of 3rd (3rd-next-next) row, AT SAME TIME dec one st at neck edge in 5th row, then in every foll 8th (8th-8th-6th) row twice ... 27 (31-33-37) sts.
Cont without shaping until work measures 30 cm from beg, ending with a purl row.
Tie a coloured thread at beg of last row to mark beg of armhole as there is no armhole shaping.
Cont dec one st at neck edge in 7th (5th-7th-next) row, sizes S, M and L only - then in every foll (8th-8th-6th) row (1-1-2) time/s ... 26 (29-31-34) sts.
Cont until work measures 7.5 (7.5-8.5-8.5) cm from coloured threads, ending with a purl row. Break off MC.
Using 2 strands of CC held together for rem, cont dec one st at neck edge in next (5th-5th-3rd) row, then in every foll 10th (8th-8th-8th) row twice ... 23 (26-28-31) sts.
Cont without shaping until work measures 20 (21-22-23) cm from coloured threads, ending with a purl row.
Work 1 row.
Shape Shoulder -
Cast off 5 (5-6-6) sts at beg of next row, then in every foll alt row 2 (3-2-3) times, sizes XS and M only - then 4 (5) sts in foll alt row.
All Sizes - Work 1 row. Cast off rem 4 (6-5-7) sts.
With WS facing, join yarns to rem 29 (33-36-40) sts and complete to correspond with other side.
Sleeves
Using 4.50 mm needles and 2 strands of MC held together, cast on 31 (33-35-37) sts.
Beg Rib -
Work 10cm in rib as for lower band of Back, ending with a 2nd row, AT SAME TIME inc one st at each end of 5th row, then in every foll 6th row twice ... 37 (39-41-43) sts.
Change to 5.50 mm needles.
Work 8 rows stocking st, inc one st at each end of next row and foll 6th row ... 41 (43-45-47) sts. Break off 1 strand of MC.
Using 1 strand of MC and 1 strand of CC held together, cont inc one st at each end of 5th row, then in every foll 6th row 4 times ... 51 (53-55-57) sts.
Work 3 rows. Break off 1 strand of MC.
Using 2 strands of CC held together for rem, cont inc one st at each end of 3rd row, then in every foll 6th row until there are 57 (59-61-65) sts.
Cont without shaping until work measures 43 cm from beg, ending with a purl row.
Cast off loosely.
Neckband
Using mattress st, join shoulder seams. Using 4.50 mm circular needle and 2 strands of MC held together, beg at lower right front, knit up 86 (88-90-92) sts evenly along right front neck to shoulder, knit up 27 (29-31-33) sts across back neck, then knit up 86 (88-90-92) sts evenly along left front neck ... 199 (205-211-217) sts.
Work 5 cm in rib as for lower band of Back, beg and ending with a 2nd row.
Cast off.
Finishing
DO NOT PRESS. Fold right end of neckband over left end and neatly stitch to cast off sts at centre front (as pictured). Sew in sleeves evenly between coloured threads, placing centre of sleeves to shoulder seams. Join side and sleeve seams, matching colour changes. Sew in all ends.
