SHIRRED DRESS

Instructions
Step 1 - Measure the shirred edge of the fabric to be 7 to 10 cm less than your bust measurement.
Step 2 - With right sides together, sew the 2 cut edges together making a cylinder piece of fabric. This seam will be the back seam of the dress.
Step 3 - Mark the length you wish for the dress to be, cut 1cm below this marking. Finish the edge in your desired method (overlocker or zig-zag stitch) and sew a 1 cm hem.
Tip: You can experiment with different bust measurements to see if you like the shirring to be a little looser or a little tighter.
