GOLD ARCH SEQUIN COVER
Level: Beginner
What you'll need:
Metallic Sequined 130 cm Polyester Fabric (Gold):
- 3.6 m for finished size (H) 1.8m x (W) 1m
- 4 m for finished size (H) 2m x (W) 1m
Scissors, seam ripper
Sewing machine
- Spartys Gold Arch Backdrop
Finished Size
H 1.8 m x W 1 m / H 2m x W 1 m
Instructions
- Assemble Arch without feet.
- Lay fabric open on a flat surface.
- Cut fabric in half with right sides together.
- Lay arch on top of fabric and cut shape of arch on the outer edge.
- Open up fabric and unpick any sequins along the seam allowance and sewing line. This will make it easier for sewing together and prevent needles not breaking.
- Pin together the 2 halves
- Sew right sides together (sequins on the inside) with a wide zig zag stitch. Leave opening on the bottom straight edge.
- Turn inside out
- Place over fully assembled arch. If cover is loose, use bulldog clips to make it firm fitting.
