BRIGHTON PASTEL CROCHET PRAM BLANKET
LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- '4 Seasons' Brighton Cotton Blend 8ply: 50g balls: 1st Colour (C1) Blue x 3, 2nd Contrast (C2) Stone x 4, 3rd Colour (C3) Green x 2, 4th Colour (C4) White x 2, 5th Colour (C5) Pink x 2.
- A 4mm crochet hook, or size required to give correct tension.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure.

Width (approx) cm 80
Length (approx) cm 100
TENSION
16tr x 9 rows to 10cm over treble fabric, using 4mm hook.
INSTRUCTIONS
THROW
Using 4mm hook and C2, make 127ch.
1st row (RS) - Miss 3ch, 1tr in each ch to end...125tr.
2nd row - (1dc, 1ch) in first tr (counts as tr throughout), 1tr in each tr to turning ch, 1tr in top of turning ch.
Fasten off C2.
Using C3, 3rd row - (1dc, 1ch, 1tr) in first tr, miss 3tr, 3tr in next tr, rep from to last 4 sts, miss 3tr, 2tr in turning ch.
4th row - (1dc, 1ch) in first tr, 1ch, miss 1tr, 3tr in sp before next tr, 1ch, miss 3tr, 3tr in sp before next tr, rep from to last 2 sts, miss 1tr, 1ch, 1tr in turning ch.
Fasten off C3.
Using C4, 5th and 6th rows - As 2nd row. Using C5, 7th row - As 3rd row.
8th row - As 4th row. Using C1, 9th and 10th rows - Rep 5th and 6th rows once.
Keeping patt and stripes correct for rem (beg with C2), cont in patt until work measures approx 98cm from beg, ending with a complete stripe in any colour except C1.
Fasten off.
BORDER
With RS facing and using 4mm hook, join C1 in any corner, 1st round - 1ch, (2dc, 3ch, 2dc) in corner, work in dc evenly along side edge of Throw to next corner taking care to keep work flat, rep from 3 more times, sl st in first dc at beg.
2nd round - Sl st to 3ch corner sp, (2dc, 3ch, 2dc) in 3ch corner sp, work in dc evenly along side edge of Throw to next 3ch corner sp, rep from twice more, work in dc evenly along last side edge to end, sl st in first dc at beg. Rep last round once.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Lay Throw flat and spray lightly with warm water. Block to measurements. Sew in all ends.
