BASKETWEAVE BABY BLANKET

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- "Bella Baby" Baby Bliss Merino 8ply 50g x 12 balls.
- A pair of 4mm knitting needle, or size required to give correct tension.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure
MEASUREMENTS
Width (approx) cm: 75
Length (approx) cm: 110
TENSION
20 sts x 28 rows to 10cm over patt, using 4mm needles.
INSTRUCTIONS
Using 4mm needles, cast on 151 sts.
Note - When joining in new balls of yarn, join yarns 2 sts in from side edges to avoid unsightly knots along side edges of Blanket.
Knit 9 rows garter st (1st row is WS).
Beg Patt -
1st row (RS) - K5, K5, P5, (K1, P1) twice, rep from to last 6 sts, K6.
2nd row - K6, P1, K1, P1, K6, P5, rep from to last 5 sts, K5.
Rep last 2 rows twice more.
7th row - Knit.
8th row - K5, purl to last 5 sts, K5.
9th row - K5, P5, (K1, P1) twice, K5, rep from to last 6 sts, K6.
10th row - K5, P1, P4, (K1, P1) twice, K6, rep from to last 5 sts, K5.
Rep last 2 rows twice more.
15th row - Knit.
16th row - K5, purl to last 5 sts, K5.
17th row - K5, (K1, P1) twice, K6, P4, rep from to last 6 sts, P1, K5.
18th row - K6, K4, P5, (K1, P1) twice, K1, rep from to last 5 sts, K5.
Rep last 2 rows twice more.
23rd row - Knit.
24th row - K5, purl to last 5 sts, K5.
Rows 1 to 24 incl form patt.
Rep last 24 rows 11 times, then first 6 rows once ... 294 rows patt.
Knit 9 rows garter st.
Cast off loosely.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends towards centre
of Blanket, rather than along side edges.
