SWAN LAKE QUILT

What you'll need:
- Fabric 1 - 60cm swan lake multicolour block panel x 60 cm
- Fabric 2 - 112cm swan lake light blue floral x 2.5m
- Fabric 3 - 112cm swan lake light pink hummingbird x 1m
- Fabric 4 - 112cm swan lake pink tie-dye texture x 20cm
- Fabric 5 - 112cm swan lake turquoise tie-dye texture x 50cm
- Fabric 6 - 112cm swan lake x 30cm
- Fabric 7 - 112cm swan lake dragonflies x 2m
- Fabric 8 - 112cm swan lake butterfly x 1m
- Backing fabric x 4m
- 2 metres cotton/polyester batting
- Matching Gutterman 100% cotton thread
- Rotary cutter, mat and quilters ruler
- HST ruler
- Quilting pins
- Tape measure
- Scissors, seam ripper
- Hand sewing needle
- Sewing machine foot and walking foot
- Marking pen
All fabric should be 100% cotton, washed and pressed. 1/4" seam allowance is used throughout unless indicated.

Terms
HST - Half Square Triangle
WOF - Width of Fabric
Fussy Cut - A piece of fabric that is cut to target a specific area of a fabric.
Cutting Instructions
Fabric 1
- Cut 5 individual panels from your fabric to 9.5" x 9.5" square.
Fabric 2
- Cut 3 strips across WOF 5" wide and crosscut to yield 20 x 5" squares.
- Cut 5 strips across WOF 5" wide and crosscut to yield 16 rectangles at 5" x 9.5" long.
- Cut 6 strips across WOF 5" wide and crosscut to yield 12 rectangles at 5" x 18.5" long.
- Cut 3 strips across WOF 5.5" wide and crosscut to yield 20 x 5.5" squares.
Fabric 3
- Cut 1 strip across WOF 5.5" wide and crosscut to yield 4 x 5.5" squares.
- Cut 9 strips across WOF 2.5" wide for binding.
Fabric 4
- Cut 1 strip across WOF 5" wide and crosscut to yield 4 x 5" squares.
Fabric 5
- Cut 3 strips across WOF 5.5" wide and crosscut to yield 16 x 5.5" squares.
Fabric 6
- Cut 2 strips across WOF 5" wide and crosscut to yield 16 x 5" squares.
Fabric 7
- Cut 8 strips 5" wide for outer border.
Fabric 8 -
- Fussy cut 4 squares 9.5" x 9.5" for the centre of Block B.
