NANA MAE CHARM QUILT

Instructions

Step 1 - The quilt will use 144 squares for the quilt top, arranged in a 12 x 12 square grid.

Step 2 - Beginning with a 1/4 inch foot, pair up each square with another and sew them together.

Step 3 - Join 2 pairs with another to make blocks of 4. You will have 36 blocks in total.

Step 4 - Once all blocks of 4 are sewn together, proceed to sew larger blocks into bigger blocks.

Step 5 - Once the larger blocks of 4 x 4 squares are complete, start joining them together in rows, slowly building up to the complete quilt.

Step 6 - Once all rows are complete, finish by finalizing the last joins. Sandwich and quilt together. When sandwiching your quilt, always allow a good 10cm larger on each side of the quilt. Once quilted, trim and bind.
