WONDER WOOL WAISTCOAT

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 'Moda Vera' Wonder Wool 8 (9-10) x 100g balls
- 1 pair 15mm knitting needles or size required to give correct tension.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure
MEASUREMENTS
Sizes S (M-L)
To Fit Bust: 80 (90-100) cm
Length (approx): 44 (45-46) cm
TENSION
6 sts and 7.5 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 15mm needles.
INSTRUCTIONS
BACK
Using 15mm needles, cast on 25 (27-29) sts.
Beg Moss St -
1st row (RS) K1, * P1, K1, rep from * to end. Rep 1st row for moss st.
Cont in moss st until work measures 21cm from beg, working last row on WS. Tie a coloured thread at each end of last row to mark beg of armholes as there is no armhole shaping.
Cont in moss st until work measures 23 (24-25) cm from coloured threads, working last row on WS. Cast off loosely in moss st. Tie a coloured thread at centre point of cast off edge for sewing up purposes
FRONT
Using 15mm needles, cast on 15 (17-19) sts.
Beg Moss St - Work in moss st as for Back until work measures 128 (135-142) cm from beg, working last row on WS. Cast off loosely in moss st.
Tie a coloured thread at centre point of one side edge for sewing up purposes.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Match coloured threads at centre point of Back and centre point of Front. Using a flat seam, sew side edge of Front to cast off edge of Back ending at each side edge of Back, then sew remainder of Front to side edges of Back, leaving 23 (24-25) cm open for armholes as marked with coloured threads on Back. Turn back collar as pictured.
