TOOTGAROOK GARLAND

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Bella Baby Tootgarook 50g balls: Main Colour (MC) 1 ball, Colour 1 (C1) 1 ball, Colour 2 (C1) 1 ball, Colour 3 (C1) 1 ball, Colour 4 (C1) 1 ball.
• A each 3.00mm (UK 11) crochet hook or size needed to obtain tension.
• Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure.

Note: The Garland is worked on a continuous chain, then flowers are completed after chain and leaves are worked.

INSTRUCTIONS

CHAIN

Using 3.00mm hook and MC, make 2 ch

*Base of Flower: Miss 1ch, 12dc in next ch, sl st in ch at beg. ** Make 10 ch.

First Leaf: Make 9ch, miss 1ch, 1dc in next ch, 1htr in next ch, 1tr in each of next 3ch, 1htr in next ch, 1dc in next ch, sl st in next ch.

Second Leaf: Make 8ch, miss 1ch, 1dc in next ch, 1htr in next ch, 1tr in each of next 3ch, 1htr in next ch, 1dc in next ch, turn, First Leaf around and working from back to front, sl st in next sl of First Leaf. Make 10 ch. Rep from * to approx. 150cm, or length desired, ending at**. Fasten off.

PETALS OF FLOWER

Working from the first of the Base of Flowers, work as follows to complete flower. Using 3.00mm hook and C1, join yarn to any dc of Base of Flower with a sl st, 4tr in next dc, sl st in next dc, rep from * to last dc, 4tr in last dc, sl st in sl st at beg.

Fasten off.

Continue completing flowers, using colour sequence or randomly placed.

MAKE UP

Sew in ends.
