WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- "Bella Baby" Tootgarook Cotton 4 ply 50g x 1 ball Pink Print
- Set of 3.25mm knitting needles or size required to give correct tension
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure
Measurements
Beanie (cm): 40 (3 months), 45 (6 months), 48 (9 months)
INSTRUCTIONS
BEANIE
Using a set of 3.25mm needles, cast on 104 (120-136) sts, evenly onto 3 needles.
1st round - K1, P1, rep from to end.
2nd round - P1, K1, rep from to end.
Rep last 2 rounds 3 times.
Working in stocking st for rem (every round knit) cont until work measures 11 (12-13) cm from beg.
Shape Crown
1st round - K2tog, K6, rep from to end ... 91 (105-119) sts.
Knit 2 rounds.
4th round - K2tog, K5, rep from to end ... 78 (90-102) sts.
Knit 2 rounds.
7th round - K2tog, K4, rep from to end ... 65 (75-85) sts.
Knit 1 round.
9th round - K2tog, K3, rep from to end ... 52 (60-68) sts.
Knit 1 round.
11th round - K2tog, K2, rep from to end ... 39 (45-51) sts.
12th round - K2tog, K1, rep from to end ... 26 (30-34) sts.
13th round - K2tog, rep from to end ... 13 (15-17) sts.
Break off yarn, thread end through rem 13 (15-17) sts, draw up and fasten off securely.
FINISHING
Sew in ends.
