KNITTED BRACLETS 'MILFORD' METALLIC
- 1 Ball 50 gm 'Milford' Metallic yarn
- 1pr 3.25mm Double Pointed Knitting Needles
- Yarn Needle
- Beads and matching thread
FINISHED SIZE
20cm circumference (to change size, increase or decrease the chains in the foundation round).
INSTRUCTIONS
ABBREVIATIONS
ch = Chain,dc = double crochet,sl st = slip stitch.
CROCHET BRACELETS 'MILFORD' METALLIC
Round 1: 1 ch, 1 dc in each chain to end of round, join with a sl st in ch 1. (50 dc).
Round 2: 1 ch, 1 dc in each dc to end of round, join with a sl st in ch 1. Repeat Round 2, 3 more times. 5 rounds in total.
Round 6: With right side out, fold piece in half from behind, so foundation chain is level with top of the last round.Insert hook though first chain (other side to Round 1), and work a sl st.
*Insert hook though next dc, and then next ch, and work a sl st. Repeat from * until all stitches and chains are worked, and joined together. Bind off and weave in loose ends.
KNITTED BRACELETS 'MILFORD' METALLIC
Leaving a 10cm tail, and using double pointed needle, cast on 5 sts, do not turn.
*Slide sts across needle and knit across sts, do not turn.
Repeat from * until work measures 20 cms. Cut yarn leaving a 20cm tail. DO NOT BIND OFF.
FINISHING
Using yarn needle thread starting tail(10cm). Insert needle in middle of knitting tube and though work about 4cm along. Pull to ensure start of knitting is just inside tube. Slide needle from thread.
Thread tail(20cm) from knitting tube through needle, insert needle through first stitch, and then secure to inserted end, do not tighten yet. Repeat until all stitches are secure and join to work. Tighten thread a little now, and tie off. Weave in loose ends and trim off.
