edges matching, join side edges of motifs together leaving one edge of first and last motifs free for opening.

With RS facing and using 5mm hook, join M with a sl st into 2-ch cnr of 1st motif.

Row 1: Using M, 1dc, 1ch, * 1tr in each of next 8 sts, dec, 1tr in each of next 7 sts, dec, 1tr in each of next 8 sts) dec over next two 2-ch sp, repeat from * 10 times, (1tr in each of next 8 sts, dec, 1tr
in each of next 7 sts, dec, 1tr in each of next 8 sts), 1tr in last 2-ch sp, turn.
Row 2: 1dc, 1ch, * (1tr in each of next 7 sts, dec) twice, 1tr in each of next 8 sts, repeat from * 12 times, turn.
Row 3: Using C1, 1dc, 1ch, 1tr in each of next 2 sts, dec, * 1tr in each of next 6 sts, dec, repeat from * to last 3 sts, 1tr in last 3 sts, turn.
