Hat is worked from the bottom up on circular needles and then finished on double pointed needles for the crown shaping. Opposite colour is stranded behind work on rounds with more than one colour. Keep floats very loose to ensure hat can still stretch. Pattern is written for three sizes: child (adult small, adult large). Up to three adult large hats can be made with one skein of each colour if alternating colours. Designate a colour A, B, and C before beginning.

Pompom:
With colour A, use pompom maker to make pompom, wrapping yarn approx. 90 times around. Pompom should weigh approx. 14g to ensure three hats can be made from three alternating colours.
