HARRIS SCARF
Level: Easy
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- "Moda Vera" Harris 100g x 1 ball 1st Colour (C1-spruce), 1 ball 2nd Colour (C2-dill), 1 ball 3rd
- Colour (C3-blue), 1 ball 4th Colour (C4- eggplant), 1 ball 5th Colour (C5-brown)
- A 6.50mm circular needle (80cm) or size required to give correct tension.
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Tape measure
INSTRUCTIONS
Measurements:
Depth (approx) 30cm
Length (approx) 155cm
TENSION:
16 sts to 10cm in width over patt, using 6.50mm needles.
Scarf:
Using 6.50mm circular needle and C1, cast on 247 sts.
Note - Work in rows, not rounds.
Using C1, 1st row (RS) - * K2, P2, rep from * to last 3 sts, K2, P1.
Rep 1st row for patt throughout.
Cont in patt until work measures 6cm, working last row on WS.
Using C2, cont in patt for 6cm, working last row on WS.
Using C3, cont in patt for 6cm, working last row on WS.
Using C4, cont in patt for 6cm, working last row on WS.
Using C5, cont in patt for 6cm, working last row on WS.
Using C5, cast off.
Cast off.
FINISHING:
DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends neatly towards centre of scarf, rather than along side edges.
