FLINDERS COTTON TRIANGLE SCARF
Level: Intermediate
What you'll need:
- Flinders 8ply Cotton 50g x 4 balls Main colour (M) Teal, 4 balls 1st colour (C1) Tropical,
- A 4.50mm (80cm long) circular knitting needle or size required to give correct tension.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure
Measurements
Width (approx): 180 cm
Length (approx): 60 cm
Tension
22 sts x 32 rows to 10cm over moss st using 4.50mm needles.
INSTRUCTIONS
Using 4.50mm circular needle and M, cast on 395 sts.
Beg Moss Stitch -
1st row - K1, P1, rep from to last st, K1.
Last row form moss st.
Rep last row 3 times.
Beg Side Shaping
Keeping moss st correct, cont as folls -
1st row - Patt 2tog, patt to last 2 sts, patt 2tog.
Rep last row until 319 sts rem.
Change to C1, rep last row until 239 sts rem.
Change to M, rep last row until 159 sts rem.
Change to C1, rep last row until 79 sts rem.
Change to M, rep last row until 3 sts rem.
Next row - Patt 3tog.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS.
Using C1, make 3 large tassels and attach one to each corner as pictured. Sew in ends.
