CROCHET BAMBOO COTTON WASH CLOTHS
Level: Easy
What you'll need:
- "Moda Vera" Bamboo Cotton 50g balls x 1 ball
- 4.5mm crochet hook
- Scissors, needle, tape measure.
Measurements
Approximately 180mm x 190mm excluding the hanger loop
Abbreviations
ch = chain, dc = double crochet, ea = each, foll = following, sl st = slip stitch, rep = repeat, RS = right side, sp = space, st/s = stitch/es, tr = treble
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Using 4.5mm hook make 32ch.
1st row - (RS) Work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into e ach along row, turn. (31dc)
2nd row - 1ch, *1dc in same sp, 2ch, miss 2 sts, rep from * ending with 1dc. Turn.
3rd row - 3ch (counts as 1tr), 1tr in same sp, work 3tr in every foll dc until last dc, 2tr in last dc, turn.
4th row - 1ch, 1dc in first tr, * 2ch, 1dc into central tr of ea group, rep from * ending last rep 2ch, 1dc into top of 3ch, turn.
Step 2 - Rep rows 3 & 4 seven times, then rep row 2 again.
Step 3 - Edging
14ch. Join with sl st in same sp as first chain. Dc evenly along edge of cloth, making 3dc in ea of the first 3 corners, until reaching 14ch. 14dc in ch space. Join with sl st in top of first dc.
Fasten off.
Step 4 - Finishing
Sew in ends.
