BRIGHTON COTTON STRIPED SCARF

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- "4 Seasons" Brighton Cotton Blend 8ply 50g x 2 balls 1st Colour (C1) brown, 2 balls 2nd Colour (C2) denim. 2 balls 3rd Colour (C3) blue and 1 ball 4th Colour (C4) Stone.
- 1 pair 4mm knitting needles or size required to give correct tension.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure
MEASUREMENTS
Width (approx): 18 cm
Length (approx): 195 cm
Tension
21 sts x 44 rows to 10cm over garter st, using 4mm needles.
INSTRUCTIONS
SCARF
Using 4mm needles and C1, cast on 37 sts.
Note - When working striped sections, carry colour not in use loosely up side edge of work until required again.
Knit in garter st (1st row is WS), until work measures 15cm from beg, working last row on WS.
Knit 12 rows in stripes of 6 rows C2 and 6 rows C1.
Rep last 12 rows twice more.
Using C2, knit in garter st until work measures 15cm from last stripe, working last row on WS.
Knit 12 rows garter st in stripes of 6 rows C3 and 6 rows C2.
Rep last 12 rows twice more.
Using C3, knit in garter st until work measures 15cm from last stripe, working last row on WS.
Knit 12 rows garter st in stripes of 6 rows C1 and 6 rows C3.
Rep last 12 rows twice more.
Using C1, knit in garter st until work measures 15cm from last stripe, working last row on WS.
Knit 12 rows garter st in stripes of 6 rows C4 and 6 rows C1.
Rep last 12 rows twice more.
Using C4, knit in garter st until work measures 15cm from last stripe, working last row on WS.
Knit 12 rows garter st in stripes of 6 rows C2 and 6 rows C4.
Rep last 12 rows twice more.
Using C2, knit in garter st until work measures 15cm from last stripe, working last row on WS.
Knit 12 rows garter st in stripes of 6 rows C1 and 6 rows C2.
