BACK
Using pair 5mm needles, cast on 92 (100-108-116-128) sts.
Beg 1st Patt - This is a make and lose patt, where a number of sts is stated this does not include sts made or lost in patt.
1st row (RS) - K1, P1, rep from to end.
2nd row - P1, K1, rep from to end.
3rd row - Knit.
4th row - Purl.
5th row - Knit.
6th row - K2, yfwd, K1, rep from to end.
7th row - Knit, dropping yfwd's from previous row off needle.
8th row - K1, P1, rep from to end.
9th row - Purl.
10th row - Knit.
11th row - Purl.
12th row - K2, (yfwd) twice, K1, rep from to end.
13th row - Knit, dropping yfwd's from previous row off needle.
14th row - K1, P1, rep from to end.

Cont without shaping until work measures 68 (69-70-71-72) cm from beg, working last row on WS.
Shape Armholes - Keeping patt correct, cast off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows � 76 (84-88-96-108) sts.
Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 6 rows � 64 (72-76-84-96) sts.
Dec one st at each end of next row, then in every foll alt row twice � 58 (66-70-78-90) sts.
Cont without shaping until armholes measure 8 (9-10-11-12) cm, working last row on WS.
Work a further 18 rows patt.
Shape Back Neck - Next row (RS) - Patt 10 (14-15-19-24), turn.
Cont on these 10 (14-15-19-24) sts and dec one st at neck edge in every row twice � 8 (12-13-17-22) sts.
Work 1 row. Cast off rem sts for shoulder.
Slip next 38 (38-40-40-42) sts onto a stitch-holder and leave.
With RS facing, join yarn to rem sts and patt to end.

Shape Neck - Next row (RS) - Patt 21 (25-26-30-35), turn.
Cont on these 21 (25-26-30-35) sts.

Dec one st at neck edge in following 3rd row � 8 (12-13-17-22) sts.
Work 7 rows. Cast off rem sts for shoulder.
Slip next 16 (16-18-18-20) sts onto stitch-holder and leave.
With RS facing, join yarn to rem 21 (25-26-30-35) sts and patt to end.
Cast off 2 sts at neck edge in every foll alt row 6 times � 9 (13-14-18-23) sts.

Work 7 rows. Cast off rem sts for shoulder.
SLEEVES
Using pair 5mm needles, cast on 104 sts.
Beg 2nd Patt - 1st row (RS) - K1, (K2tog) 3 times, (yfwd, K1) 5 times, yfwd, (K2tog) 3 times, rep from to last st, K1.
2nd row - Knit.
3rd row - Knit.
4th row - Purl.
Rows 1 to 4 incl form 2nd patt.
Rep last 4 rows 5 times more, dec one st at each end of last row � 102 sts, 24 rows 2nd patt in all.
Beg 1st Patt - Work in 1st Patt for rem as for Back until work measures 10 cm from beg, working last row on WS.
Working extra sts into 1st Patt, dec one st at each end of next row, then in every foll alt row 20 (17-15-12-10) times � 60 (66-70-76-80) sts.
Cont wthout shaping until work measures 31 (31-31-30-30) cm from beg, working last row on WS.
Shape Top - Keeping patt correct, cast off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows � 54 (60-64-70-74) sts.
Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 2 (2-4-4-4) rows � 50 (56-56-62-66) sts.
Dec one st at each end of next row, then in every foll alt row 6 (7-7-8-10) times � 36 (40-40-44-44) sts.
Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 4 (4-4-4-6) rows, then 3 sts at beg of foll 2 rows.
Cast off rem sts loosely.
NECKBAND
Using mattress st seam, join shoulder seams. With RS facing and using 5mm circular needle, knit up 104 (106-108-108-110) sts evenly around neck, incl sts from stitch-holders.
1st round - Knit.
2nd round - K1, P1, rep from to end.
3rd round - P1, K1, rep from to end.
Rep last 2 rounds once more.
Cast off loosely.
