WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 'Abbey Road" Wool To Be Wild 100g balls 2 x 1st Contrast (C1) Marle, 2 x 2nd Contrast (C2) Blue 1 x 3rd Contrast (C3) Chartreuse and 1 x 4th Contrast (C4) Olive.
- 1 pair 6.50mm knitting needles or size required for correct tension
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure
MEASUREMENTS
Width cm: 20
Length (approx) cm: 200
TENSION
24 sts and 19 rows to 10cm over 1 x 1 rib, using 6.50mm needles.
INSTRUCTIONS
SCARF
Using 6.50mm needles and C1, cast on 49 sts in rib.
Beg Rib And Stripe Patt
1st row - K2, * P1, K1, rep from * to last st, K1.
2nd row - K1, * P1, K1, rep from * to end. Last 2 rows form rib. Cont in rib until work measures 20cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row. Using C2, cont in rib until work measures 40cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row.
Using C3, cont in rib until work measures 60cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row. Using C4, cont in rib until work measures 80cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row.
Last 80cm form stripe patt for rem. Keeping stripes correct, cont in rib until work measures approx 200cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row, thus ending with a C2 stripe.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends.
