PURE WOOL ENTWINE 8PLY TRIANGLE CUSHIONS

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- '4 Seasons' Pure Wool Entwine 8 Ply 100g: Solid Cushion - 4 balls.Multi Colour Cushion - 1 x 1st Colour (C1-mustard), 1 x 2nd Colour (C2-orange), 1 x 3rd Colour (C3-green), 1 x 4th Colour (C4-burgundy), 1 x 5th Colour (C5-cream).2 Colour Stripe Cushion - 3 x 1st Colour (C1), 1 x 2nd Colour (C2).
- A long pair 5mm knitting needles or size needed for correct tension.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure, polyfill.
TENSION
16 sts and 21 rows to 10 cm over stocking st, using 5mm needles and 2 strands of yarn together.

INSTRUCTIONS
SOLID CUSHION
Using 5mm needles and 2 strands of yarn tog, cast on 128 sts.
1st row (WS) - Purl.
BEG SHAPING
2nd row - K1, K2tog, knit to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1.
Work 3 rows stocking st, beg with a purl row.
6th row (RS) - K1, K2tog, knit to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1.
7th row - Purl.
Rep 6th and 7th rows twice more.
12th row - Knit.
13th row - Purl.
Rep from to until 6 sts rem.
Next row - K1, (K2tog) twice, K1 � 4 sts.
Next row - Purl.
Next row - (K2tog) twice � 2 sts.
Next row - P2, turn, K2tog. Fasten off.
MULTI COLOUR CUSHION
Stripe Sequence - Using 2 strands of C1 tog, work 10 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C5 tog, work 2 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C2 tog, work 10 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C5 tog, work 2 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C3 tog, work 10 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C5 tog, work 2 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C4 tog, work 10 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C5 tog, work 2 rows stocking st.
Last 48 rows form stripe sequence throughout.
Using 5mm needles and 2 strands of C1 tog, cast on 128 sts.
1st row (WS) - Purl.
BEG STRIPES AND SHAPING
Work in stripe sequence (as above) throughout, working shaping as for Solid Cushion, thus ending with 2 rows of C5.
2 COLOUR STRIPE CUSHION
Stripe Sequence - Using 2 strands of C1 tog, work 10 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C2 tog, work 2 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C1 tog, work 4 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C2 tog, work 2 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C1 tog, work 2 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C2 tog, work 2 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C1 tog, work 4 rows stocking st.
Using 2 strands of C2 tog, work 2 rows stocking st.
Last 28 rows form stripe sequence throughout.
Using 5mm needles and 2 strands of C1 tog, cast on 128 sts.
1st row (WS) - Purl.
BEG STRIPES AND SHAPING
Work in stripe sequence (as above) throughout, working shaping as for Solid Cushion, thus ending with 2 rows of C2.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Fold the 3 points of triangle towards each other to meet at centre top. Using half mattress st seam, join the 3 sides together, leaving an opening for filling. Fill cushion and close opening.
