CHRISTMAS STAR TREE

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- '4 Seasons' Marvel 8ply 100g balls: 1 x 1st Colour (C1), 1 x 2nd Colour (C2), 1 x 3rd Colour (C3), 1 x 4th Colour (C4), 1 x 5th Colour (C5).
- 1 pair 4mm knitting needles.
- A Bead.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure.
TENSION
Correct tension is not essential for this Tree.

Using 4mm needles and C1, cast on 5 sts, leaving a long end.

FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Using long end in centre of stars, run a gathering row through 5 cast on sts on each star and draw up to close centre. Using a flat seam, join side edges tog to beg of point. Stack stars in colour order as desired beg with largest stars at bottom and finishing with smallest stars on top to form tree shape, catching each star in position with a slip st either side of centre. Sew bead to centre of stacked motif as pictured.
