Jar candles are a safer option than uncontained candles, as their jar will contain any wax drips and can also help keep the flame under control. Both short and tall jar candles are equally safe for use in the home.

How to make a candle in a jar

Once you have melted your candle wax, attach the wick to the empty container and then carefully pour your wax into the jar. Let the candle dry in a cool dry space until the wax has completely hardened. Trim the wick before lighting.

What are jar candles made from?
