Old Saint Nicholas Christmas Stocking Panel Cream 112 cm
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Create personalised Santa Stockings with Old Saint Nicholas Christmas Stocking Panel, a wonderful addition to your Christmas decorations. Featuring a jolly Santa this is a versatile fabric choice for creating joyous Santa stockings, for your own home, or as unique gifts.
Additional supplies you'll need:
1 - ½ yards of lining fabric for both stockings
1 yard of backing fabric for both stockings
Instructions:
1. Cut out each stocking front, ¼” beyond the outside printed line.
2. Place each stocking front on top of the backing fabric, right sides together. Trace the stocking shape onto the backing fabric. Cut out the backing on the drawn lines to make the stocking back piece for each stocking.
3. Fold the lining fabric right sides together. Sew the two pieces together, leaving the top edge open. Turn the stocking right side out.
4. Place the linking front and back pieces, right sides together. Sew the two pieces together leaving the top edge open. Turn the stocking right side out.
5. Place the lining front and back pieces, right sides together. Sew the two pieces together, leaving a 3” t 4” opening in the side seam for turning, and leave the top edge open. Do not turn right side out.
6. Slide the lining piece over the stocking, right sides together, and align the top edge. Pin the two pieces together and sew them together around the top edge.
7. OPTIONAL Place a hanging cord between the two units, tucking in between the two pieces before sewing around the top.
8. Turn the stocking right side out through the opening in the lining. Top stitch the limning opening closed.
9. Push the linking into the stocking and press to complete the stocking.
10. OPTIONAL Add your own personal touch with ribbons, glitter, novelty buttons or beads!
