How do I apply a Christmas iron-on transfer?
Lie your item of clothing down flat on an ironing board. Place your heat transfer on top of your item of clothing, placing baking paper on top of your iron on transfer. If using a household iron, use a cotton/linen setting and make sure the steam setting is off. Press the iron on your transfer and cover the whole design. Wait for your garment to cool down before gently peeling off the transfer paper.
How to remove an iron on transfer
Using a hairdryer on the hottest setting, heat up the transfer enough for it to become removable. Using a sharp knife, carefully peel the transfer off. Continue heating the transfer with the iron to make it easier to peel off. Once removed, use rubbing alcohol to remove any leftover adhesive from the iron on transfer. Once complete, wash the garment to clean.
