LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 2 x Felt sheets per monster in contrasting colours
- Stuffing
- Buttons (optional) bigger the better
- Embroidery needle
- Embroidery thread
- Pins
- Scissors
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Fold 1 piece of felt in half and cut out two 'U' shapes for the bodies.
Step 2 - Fold second piece of felt in half and cut out a set of horns, these can be as simple or as crazy as your monster would like.
Step 3 - Cut out a funny mouth (using a scrap from the horn felt).
Step 4 - To attach the mouth use embroidery thread and a needle to sew in place.
Step 5 - Now attach the buttons for the eyes.
Step 6 - Create horns by stitching the two layers together leaving a gap for stuffing.
Step 7 - Create monster body by stitching the two U shapes together, leaving gaps where the horns will be.
Step 8 - Fill with stuffing and then finish by placing the horns in the gaps and secure in place with stitching! Grrrr!
