How to use embossing powder?

To apply embossing powder to paper you'll need stamps, an embossing ink pad and a heat gun. Choose your stamp design, and once it's loaded up with embossing ink, apply the stamp to your paper or card. Lightly dust the embossing powder over the ink, then use your heat gun to lightly melt and set the embossing powder. The result is a colourful, shiny, slightly raised design that will take your paper crafts to the next level.

How to use an embossing folder?

To use an embossing folder, place your chosen cardstock or paper inside the folder - making sure to align the pattern with where you would like it to sit in your finished design. The folder can then be fed through an embossing machine, which applies the right amount of pressure to transfer the texture from the folder to your cardstock. If you don't have an embossing machine you can also use a rolling pin to manually apply the required pressure, though this can be a bit of a workout!

What materials can I emboss?
