3D PAPER ART

LEVEL: EASY

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 'Scan n Cut' Machine (or a template and scissors)
• Various 'Kaisercraft' pads and papers
• Double sided tape
• Canvas
• Bead for center

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1.Choose an existing leaf shaped design or scan in your own drawing into the Scan N Cut machine. Follow the directions to cut out multiple designs from various coloured papers. If you don't own a Scan n Cut, find or draw a template and trace around and cut out manually. (Note: This will add a lot of time to the project)

Step 2. Once all shapes are cut out begin to assemble your design. We have used a simple circle shape. Start on the outside edge of the circle and stick down each leaf with double sided table. Leave a small space between each leaf.

Step 3. Start layering the leaves working inwards and sticking each leaf in the gaps of the layer before it.

Step 4. Continue this process all the way into the centre of the artwork until the shapes overlap in the center.

Step 5. Use a hot glue gun to glue down a gemstone to cover the middle of where the paper overlaps.

Step 6. Hang canvas on wall!
