MULTI STRAND NECKLACE

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Selection of beads
• Non-Stretch Beading Thread
• 3.6mm Seed Beads
• 4mm Jump Rings
• 10mm Jump Rings
• 16mm Plastic Rings
• 8mm Bolt Ring Clasps
• 2mm Round Crimpers
• Round Nose Cutter Pliers

Note: Keep all Jewellery Findings the same colour (gold or silver)

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Cut 60cm length of Beading Thread. Thread one selection of beads onto the thread and at each end of the thread, leave 5cm. Thread the seed beads onto one end leaving 1cm of thread left.

STEP 2

Thread on a crimper and form a loop with the stringing back through the crimper. Close the crimper using the pliers. Repeat
step 3-5 on the other end to complete the strand. Create 6-10 strands of beads (depending on range of colours you have selected).

STEP 3

Thread the loop at each of the strands through an open 4mm jump ring and close. Attach a 16mm plastic ring to the strands with a 10mm jump ring connecting in the middle. Connect another 10mm jump ring to the plastic ring and add the bolt ring clasp to the jump ring.

STEP 4

Repeat steps 8 & 9 with the other end of the strands, connecting all jump rings. Connect 12 x 4mm jump rings together to form a chain link. Attach the chain link to a 10mm jump ring, connecting again with the plastic ring. Twist the necklace few times to create interest and to show off all the beads.
