SISER CHRISTMAS GLITTER TEE
Level: Beginner
What you'll need:
- A blank tee or jumper
- Siser Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl Sampler
- Weeding tools (Tweezer & Weeder tool set from Siser)
- Siser Juliet Cutting machine
- Leonardo® Design Studio software
- Siser Craft Heat Press
- Heat-resistant tape, a lint roller, and a sheet of baking paper are also recommended.
This project can also be created using alternate equipment and software
Instructions
Step 1 - Choose your design. Siser's Leonardo® Design Studio comes pre-loaded with hundreds of royalty-free cut files or you can import your own designs.
Step 2 - Import your design into your cutter software and create your cut lines. This project has a bottom layer of black heat transfer vinyl, with a layer of Gitter heat transfer vinyl on top.
Step 3 - Load your vinyl into your cutting machine. Make sure your design is mirrored. Cut your design according to your machine's settings.
Step 4 - Prepare your tee by running over it your lint roller to get rid of any excess fibres.
Step 5 - Plan out where each part of your design will go on your jumper. Pre-press your jumper for 5 seconds to remove any excess moisture. Position your heat transfer vinyl, then press at 155°C for 15 seconds. Peel off the carrier, then position the Glitter layer and press for a further 15 seconds.
Taking care of your project
- Wait 24 hours before washing.
- Do not use bleach or any other aggressive chemical agents.
