JOCELYN PROUST STOCKING & DECORATIONS

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Place stockings right sides together and sew around the edges leaving the top open. Clip curves and turn right side out. Press.

Step 2 - Baste a ribbon loop to the top edge of the back seam of the stocking.

Step 3 - Apply interfacing to wrong side of contrasting cuffs.

Step 4 - Place cuffs right sides together and sew both sides together, leaving top and bottom edges open.

Step 5 - Hem the bottom edge of cuff.

Step 6 - Pin the right side of the cuff to the wrong side of the stocking, aligning the top edges.

Step 7 - Sew around the top edge of the stocking and cuff. Open the cuff out and press the seam towards the base of the stocking. Turn the cuff over the top of stocking and press.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Jocelyn Proust Australiana Christmas fabric

• Main colour - cut 2 pieces per tree
• Red Homespun - cut 2 pieces per tree
• Hobbyfill
• 10cm Ribbon for each tree ornament

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Place 2 trees right sides together. Fold a piece of ribbon in half and pin it inside the two trees (the ends aligning with the top of the tree, loop down inside the tree).

Step 2 - Sew around the edges of the tree leaving a 4cm opening in the sides. Clip and turn right side out. Press.

Step 3 - Lightly stuff with hobbyfill and hand sew opening closed.
