CRICUT MAKER CHRISTMAS VILLAGE

SHORT CHRISTMAS HOUSE
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore air 2 machine
- Design space application
- Kraft Board, White - 12" x 12"
- Vellum
- Everything Else:

- Double Scoring Wheel + QuickSwap Housing
- Adhesive for Paper
- Battery Operated Tea Light (optional)
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preparation
Open design space and search the project "SHORT CHRISTMAS HOUSE"
If you want to alter the project, select Customize, then use the tools in the Edit panel to make changes before you cut.
Cut
Follow the prompts in Design Space to cut the images from the kraft board and vellum.
Insert your scoring tool when prompted.
Assemble
Fold along the score lines of the kraft board.
Glue the vellum onto the wrong side of the kraft board shapes with adhesive for paper, avoiding the cut out area so that the glue is not visible from the outside on the vellum. Make sure to cover all window cutouts with the vellum.
Fold the house into shape and glue along the tabs. Make sure that the edges line up and will not shift before proceeding to the next tab. Start with the walls and finish with the roof tabs.
If lighting is desired, only use a battery operated tea light placed in the middle of the house so that it does not touch any sides
Cut and assemble multiples or some of the other house projects to create an entire village scene!
CHRISTMAS SCHOOL HOUSE

If lighting is desired, only use a battery-operated tea light placed in the middle of the house so that it does not touch any sides
Cut and assemble some of the other house projects to create an entire village scene!

Assemble
Fold along the score lines of each cut out. Long score lines will be mountain folds. Short score lines will be valley folds. Tabs will be folded in.
Run a bead of your preferred glue along one tab and along corresponding tab. Match up and hold until glue has set. Repeat with remaining points.
Attach monofilament or ribbon at tip of one point to hang if desired. Enjoy!
