INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Fold fabric in half with right sides together so that your shape measures 85cm x 50cm.

Step 2 - Using a straight stitch 1cm from the edge, sew down the long side of fabric, pausing 1cm before the end. With needle down, lift sewing machine foot and turn fabric ready to sew across the bottom. Foot down, sew to the edge of the fabric and secure.

Step 3 - Use a zigzag stitch to sew along the edges of the fabric where you have just sewn.

Step 4 - Fold over 5mm of fabric at top of bag and press with an iron. Fold over another 2 cm and press with iron. Stitch close to the first fold, around the top of the sack, leaving a 3cm gap to thread your rope through later. Secure both ends of stitching.

Step 5 - Turn bag the right way out and press with an iron. Thread the rope through the 3cm gap at the top. Tie both ends of the rope together.
