CHRISTMAS DOG BANDANA

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Cut out 2 pieces of fabric (right sides together) using pattern as provided.

Step 2 - With right sides together, sew across top edge of bandana (longest side) in a 1.5cm seam allowance.

Step 3 - Position one end of the elastic between the two fabric layers at one end of the top of the bandana. Right sides together with front piece of fabric, and raw edges even. Pin in place.

Step 4 - Continue to stitch seam allowance around remaining sides of the bandana, over the elastic and finishing approximately 25mm from the end (leave this gap for turning and attaching other end of elastic)

Step 5 - Clip corners and turn bandana right side out. Press edges flat and turn in 1.5cm of the raw edge at the opening.

Step 6 - Insert the other end of the elastic into the opening - adjusting to fit around the neck of your dog. Pin in place. Top stitch through all thicknesses to secure elastic and close off opening.
