CHRISTMAS BAUBLE CUSHIONS

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 -Make template to size (50cm long). Using template, cut 3 pieces of red fleece and 3 pieces of white fleece.

Step 2 -Sew each segment together, leaving a 15cm opening on last segment.

Step 3 -Turn right way out, stuff well with hobbyfill and hand stitch opening closed.

Step 4 -Using grey fleece, cut a circle 12cm in diameter, a rectangle 35cm x 9cm, a frill 35cm x 5cm and a handle 20cm x 5cm.

Step 5 -Make handle: Fold both long sides in to the middle, fold one side on top of the other and sew down the length of the handle with a large zigzag stitch. Attach the ends of the handle to the opposite sides of the grey circle.

Step 6 - With right sides together, attach frill to the rectangle. Attach rectangle to the circle and join edges of the rectangle together. Turn right way out.

Step 7 - Tuck frill to the outside (out of the way) and stuff the top with hobbyfill. Pin top to cushion and hand stitch in place.

Step 8 - Place dobs of glue on wrong side of frill and push frill into place on top of cushion. Allow to dry.
