Level: Intermediate
What you'll need:
- 5m of woven fabric
- 6" Dress Zip
- Pins
- Scissors
- Thread
- Sewing Machine
- Zipper foot for machine
Instructions
Cutting:
Step 1- Pin Pattern to fabric and cut out all pieces as per template instructions.
Take note of any directions in patten on fabric.
Sewing:
Step 1- Take Top half of heart pattern piece and pin the zipper face down to the right side of the fabric. Match the edge of the zipper with the edge of the piece.
Place the zipper top 0.5cm lower than the edge of the fabric. Do not be concerned if your zipper runs longer then the heart. It will be trimmed later.
Step 2- Pin Top half Lining to underside of zipper- matching with main piece and sew.
Step 3- Press and Top stitch down zipper on half
